General Information
Name: Jenga (ジェンガ)
Age: 14
Height: 159 cm (about 62.5 in.)
Hometown: Outskirts of Ecruteak City

History: Jenga was born in a rural village on the outskirts of Johto’s capital, which would soon be known as Ecruteak City. She lived a simple life and grew up with the promise from her parents that when she turns 10, she’d be given her first Pokemon.

However, at the age of 6, rogue warriors invading the capital swept by her little rural community and destroyed all the homes. Her house was no exception. Jenga’s father hid her underground, while he and his mother tried to defend their home from the invaders. Unfortunately, they were defeated and lost their lives. Jenga climbed out from her father’s hidden basement to find that her home was nothing more. In one night, her village was burned to the ground. She mourned for the death of her parents, and then she set off on foot with her father’s sword to follow the invaders’ trail. Once she arrived at their camp, the rogues all assumed that she came for revenge, but not a single thought of revenge was on her mind. Instead she asked their leader to teach her how to fight. However, acceptance didn’t come so easily. Jenga had to prove to him that she was worthy of being his student.

Her task was to take down the queen dragon of Mt. Silver and bring back its captive child as evidence of its defeat. Despite the odds against her, she easily returns with a Pupitar. The rogue leader didn’t question her methods. For 4 years, he gave her a home with the rogue warriors and trained her in the way of the sword. Throughout her training, he promised her that she will know when she becomes a true warrior the moment she is given real armor to wear. However, their training was cut short when he and his group were captured by the Imperial army, and executed within the next day. Again, she managed to escape death but at the cost of losing her new home.

Jenga continued to train on her own, but to survive, she had to resort to stealing from various marketplaces throughout Johto. She couldn’t stay in one place or else she would be captured like her sensei was. Eventually she developed a region-wide reputation for causing trouble. For 4 years, the bounty on her head steadily continued to rise. Eventually, her luck had run out and she was finally captured.

She was tried by the Emperor and his court. She was expecting a quick execution like her sensei, but was fortunately given a different sentence. Jenga was instead exiled from Johto, and sent to Unova on a cargo ship. Unbeknownst to her, the nation was on the verge of a civil war as she stood in front of the doors to Castelia Castle.

Personality: Jenga’s an idiot with a pure heart, but is mostly known for her utter fearlessness. She is easily fascinated with the simplest of things, and is often confused by the most complex of things. Although her instincts and behavior is similar to that of a wild Pokemon’s, she can be considered a genius at fighting, thinking of roundabout ways to win the battle when odds are against her. She is simple-minded, childish, gullible, and naïve, but she has a heart of gold as she shows tremendous care for her Pokemon. She loves food; flashy, cool armor; dragons; and great company. As demonstrated in the Capture the Flag mission against her opponent Kingsley, Jenga can’t actually read English; she can only speak it. Her native language is Japanese, but even then she doesn’t have a strong grasp of writing Kanji. The best at not paying attention.


POKEMON:

Tiki (ティキ): Lucario – Male
Ability: Inner Focus
Moveset: Aura Sphere / Bone Rush / Shadow Ball / Rock Slide
Tiki is the Pokemon promised to Jenga by her parents. He wears the bones of his greatest rival and fights with the giant bone his rival once used. He is wise and educated in fighting as well as human knowledge, capable of reading even the most advanced of texts. Her parents saw that he’d be a fitting tutor for her, training her in the ways of the world. However, Tiki was separated from her during the invasion. The two finally reunited at the foot of Mt. Silver, where he asked her to prove herself before battling the Queen of Mt. Silver. He concedes after Jenga manages to withstand all of his attacks and joins her on her mission. He finds his name “Tiki” to be embarrassing. The oldest of the team and the one most likely to die of an aneurysm from sheer stupidity.

Leia (レイア): Pupitar – Female
Ability: Shed Skin
Moveset: Earthquake / Dark Pulse / Toxic / Attract
Leia calls herself the princess of Mt. Silver and all the other Pokemon there recognize her as that. She is the actual daughter and heir to the queen of the mountain, who is very protective of her. She is spoiled and always has her Ursaring guards carry her around from place to place in the mountain. Because of her outstanding beauty, she often gets many suitors but refuses their proposals without second thought. She met Jenga through Jenga’s confrontation with her mother at the peak of Mt. Silver. The Queen decided to let her daughter go after Jenga proved the will to protect her daughter. Leia is a self-appointed name as she doesn’t believe Jenga has the proper authority to name her yet. The one most likely to toss in her sleep.

Yoshida (吉田): Tepig Pignite –Male
Ability: Blaze
Moveset: Flamethrower / Wild Charge / Body Slam / Double Team
Yoshida’s a timid Tepig that was about to be Jenga’s dinner. He was originally imported from the Unova region to be sold in the meat market at Johto’s capital. While waiting to be slaughtered one evening, Yoshida was snatched from the butcher’s home by Jenga. At first he thought he had been rescued, only to find himself on the plate of another human. She was surprised that her meal was alive (she had only eaten cooked meat) and chose to spare his life, even at the cost of losing her meal. Despite his fearful nature, Yoshida has demonstrated great strength in battle, and Jenga asked him to join her team. Tiki decided to give him the name “Yoshida” because of how tremendously lucky he is, but mostly because Jenga was about to name him “Bacon”. During the Capture the Flag mission against Kingsley, Yoshida evolved into a Pignite after being swallowed by his Skarmory, Force. After some recollection and introspection, Yoshida realized that in order to protect Jenga, he had to gain some courage and manages to escape with an incredibly powerful Wild Charge. Now that he’s a reasonable size, he hopes to no longer be anyone’s meal. The one always lost in thought.

Azur (アズール): Swablu –Male
Ability: Natural Cure
Moveset: Dragon Rush / Dream Eater / Sing / Thief
Azur is currently the newest member of the team. Like Jenga, he is an ex-thief, and also like Jenga, he still carries the tendencies in practicing his craft. One morning, he was caught stealing from the Castelia marketplace and was supposed to be locked up in the castle dungeon. However, the newly assigned knight in charge of Azur was Jenga, who didn’t exactly pay attention to the instructions given to her. She assumed Azur was that night’s dinner and took him to the kitchen. There, the two battled and Jenga learned how closely alike their pasts were and decided to free him of his crime, letting him join their team. He’s very grateful towards her (also partially for not eating him) and vows to repay his debt back to her. He’s very fond of sweets, carrying emergency snack supplies on him at all times. His absolute favorite though is Rainbow Cake. He’s often calm and collected, very “chill”, minds his own business, and is hard to anger. He loves being with babes and cares about how he looks. He also gives others nicknames that are easier for him to remember. Has the best singing voice of the team.
